Hi! I’m Tori. A Dallas-based Marketing Director focused on event programming, sales marketing, strategic partnerships, and design execution.

  • As Marketing Director at D Magazine, I lead strategic marketing initiatives that drive revenue, elevate brand visibility, and strengthen audience engagement. I collaborate across departments to develop high-impact campaigns and partnerships that align creative execution with business goals, ensuring every initiative supports both brand equity and growth.

  • It all started with an internship in event planning. My Type A, organizer personality thrives on bringing structure to big ideas and ensuring every detail is thoughtfully executed. Today, I oversee more than 50 events annually at D Magazine, leading high-impact thought leadership programs from concept to execution. From curating speakers and shaping program themes to managing run of show and on-site experience, I build events that are as strategically sound as they are seamless.

  • The daughter of a graphic designer, I’ve always had an appreciation for thoughtful design. What started with freelance projects and being the go-to invitation creator in the friend group has evolved into producing strategic promotional assets at D Magazine—from sponsorship decks and event materials to detailed recaps and branded marketing pieces.

  • A masters degree, six years of teaching middle and high school, and three years of coaching cheerleading and soccer under my belt, I bring a wealth of experience on empathy, community, and human behavior.

About

I’m Tori, a Marketing Director at D Magazine, where I spend my days at the intersection of sales marketing, strategic partnerships, event programming and a little bit of design.

A large part of my role is bringing ideas to life—especially through our thought leadership events and awards programs. That looks like shaping event content, developing speaker lineups, writing scripts and run-of-show materials, and making sure everything from the first invitation to the final slide feels intentional and cohesive. I also lead the marketing execution for initiatives like the D CEO Awards, working across teams on everything from promotional materials to finalist communications and event-day coordination.

On the business side, I support our sales team with marketing materials, media kits, and client-facing promotions, and I work closely with partners and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly (and on time).

Before landing here, I worked across education, social media, marketing, and design—which explains why I care just as much about the details as I do the big picture.

Outside of work, I live in East Dallas with my husband and our two dogs. Most days you can find me reading a thriller, wandering through Dallas boutiques I probably don’t need anything from, or trying (and retrying) to perfect the at-home vanilla latte situation.
